Synopsis from Goodreads:

For twenty-one-year-old Sydney, being in love with Kyler isn't anything new. They'd been best friends ever since he pushed her down on the playground and she made him eat a mud pie. Somewhere over the years, she fell for him and fell hard. The big problem with that? Kyler puts the 'man' in man-whore.
He's never stayed with a girl longer than a few nights, and with it being their last year in college, Syd doesn't want to risk their friendship by declaring her love.

Kyler has always put Syd on a pedestal that was too high for him to reach. To him, she's perfect and she's everything. But the feelings he has for her, he's always hidden away or focused on any other female. After all, Kyler will always be the poor boy from the wrong side of tracks, and Syd will always be the one girl he can never have.

But when they're stranded together at a posh ski resort due to a massive Nor'easter, there's nothing stopping their red-hot feelings for each other from coming to the surface. Can their friendship survive the attraction? Better yet, can they survive at all? Because as the snow falls, someone is stalking them, and this ski trip may be a life-changer in more ways than one.

My Review:

This book is one of those books that makes you wish there was a sequel to but sadly there isn't. Well, technically, there is but it doesn't continue from Kyler's or Sydney's P.O.V. It's from Tanner's and Andrea's (Syndey's and Kyler's friends). And this book is in two P.O.V. (Sydney's and Kyler's), which I love.

It's about a girl named Sydney and a boy named Kyler. They're best friends in their last year of college and they've known each other since they were little. They love each other. But they don't want one another to know because they don't want it to ruin their friendship. Kyler copes with this by sleeping with lots of females and this greatly saddens Sydney. Sydney doesn't have a lot of experience; she's only had one boyfriend, Nate, who dumped her over the phone after they had sex and he called her frigid.

There is a trip to go to a ski resort but only Kyler and Sydney make it because of a huge snowstorm. And they just had a big argument. but now they are stuck and their feelings for each other are surfacing. And they realize that they are in danger when someone breaks a window and cuts off the generator.

This book was filled with a lot of romance that worked very well. Kyler's reason for sleeping with all those females was totally stupid and he deserves a slap. He thought that Sydney was too good for him and then she had started going out with Nate (I would have loved to have read a flashback where we see Sydney and Nate together and Kyler is filled with jealousy). Sydney's reason for not telling Kyler was at first because she thought that he would reject her. Then he started going out with all those females and she felt that he wasn't committed and he would never change.

Sydney is a short girl and when she was drunk, I found her to be really funny. Especially when she ran into a mailbox and said, "Son of a bitch jumped right in front of me." I think I can relate to her, especially since she doesn't like splinters. Ouch. I believe her to be somewhat of a shy girl and she reads for fun.

Kyler is a "man whore" as said by Sydney. I wanted to kick him when he realized that all those times he remembered seeing Sydney crying was because of him. He was so blind to see that Sydney loved him. But I love him. He is so freaking sexy with his yummy abs. He always has the company of a female. He can be moody and he is cocky and has high confidence. He's got lots of experience when it comes to females and sex. When it comes to Sydney, he can be so sweet and caring like he's very protective when guys get near her, except I think that it was due to his jealousy.

Overall, this book was freaking amazing. It should have been longer. I look forward to seeing them in Tanner's and Andrea's story. But sadly, they'll be hanging on the sidelines :(

         5 out of 5 stars
